Join us for the virtual Abbey Trails 5K run or two-mile walk May 1–7. With a one-week window to participate or compete, you can complete it on your own time from anywhere.
REGISTRATION
Registration is $25 per participant and includes an Abbey Trails t-shirt and packet. Please sign up by Friday, April 16 to receive your shirt before the kickoff date, May 1.
COMPETITORS
Download the FREE "It's Your Race" Virtual App to your phone, select our race, and track your run. After completing registration, you may choose a date to run your race between May 1-7. Once you begin tracking your race, you will only be able to pause the app for a limited amount of time (i.e. for a restroom break). Please be prepared to complete your race at that time.
Tune into our social media to see what awards and raffle items you won.
PARTICIPANTS
For those that will be joining for fun and do not want to track their 5K time or are participating in the walk, you are not required to download the app - just get out there and have fun! You still have the chance to win raffle items!
RAFFLE
Share your Abbey Trails experience on social media; tag us (@ConceptionAbbey), tag one friend, and use the hashtag #AbbeyTrails! Each social media post = 1 raffle entry. Wearing your Abbey Trails t-shirt and bib in the post = 1 bonus raffle entry. Winners will be announced on our social media accounts the following week.
PACKET PICK-UP
We encourage packet pick-up at Conception Abbey for our local participants. We will let you know via email or phone when packets are ready for pick up.
Anyone who registers after April 16 must pick up their packet at Conception Abbey to receive their shirt before the kickoff date, May 1. Mailed registration packets after April 16 may not arrive by May 1. Registrations received after April 30 are not guaranteed a t-shirt.
Abbey Trails is an annual 5K Run and 2 Mile Walk to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being on our campus and in the local communities and to build community among runners and walkers in Northwest Missouri. Proceeds from the event are used to promote health and wellness initiatives at Conception Abbey and in the local community.
